Product Description

Diversify Your Inventory with Premium RMP Finishes Pigment Powders

Give your professional contractors, artisans, furniture refinishers, and masonry clients complete color control. RMP Finishes Pigment Powders are professional-grade, finely milled dry color additives designed to deliver deep saturation, incredible hiding power, and excellent texture across countless mediums.

Unlike liquid tints that can destabilize the chemistry of natural finishes or thin out viscous bases, our pure powders offer non-toxic, highly concentrated tinting strength without changing the performance of the host medium. This is a high-margin, shelf-stable addition for hardware stores, woodworking supply centers, masonry distributors, and art supply retailers looking to capture the growing custom-maker and trade market.

How To Use Pigment Powders

  1. Always mix a small sample first to confirm color strength, as pigments vary in intensity.
  2. Add pigment gradually to oils, waxes, paints, concrete, plaster, epoxy, or putty. Stir or blend thoroughly until fully dispersed.
  3. Continue adding pigment in small increments until the desired shade, opacity, or depth is reached.
  4. Ensure pigments are fully incorporated to avoid streaks or uneven color in your final application.
  5. Follow Medium-Specific Ratios:
    • Concrete: Use 1–3 lbs (16-48 oz) per 94-lb cement bag for light tones, 7–8 lbs (112-128 oz) for deeper shades.
    • Paints, oils, waxes: Add slowly until your target color is achieved.
  6. Once mixed, apply your tinted product according to its standard directions.
